Day off the exercise today as I walk early on Tuesday mornings. I realise that I need to pay attention to my nutrition as I get onto longer rides, but also cleaner eating when I’m not on the bike. I’m a long-time fan of juicing (I haven’t managed to get SJ to follow suit – yet!) and on Sunday afternoon I froze myself some ginger shots.

Ginger shots are best taken on an empty stomach and have many benefits, some of which are; boosting the immune system, reducing sugar levels, reducing cholesterol, and can settle digestive systems. It’s been a while and I had forgotten just how spicy ginger root is when juiced! Tomorrow I will have the same but I’ll be adding hot water.
